A cool-climate performer, Wallflower's showy clusters of vivid orange blossoms perk up gardens along the coast or in marine-influenced zones. Its small, four-petaled flowers are sweetly fragrant and best enjoyed near a well-traversed walkway or window, allowing the aroma to waft inside. Very nice in a sunny border with other cool-climate performers, such as Tidy Tips (Layia platyglossa), Shirley Poppy (Papaver rhoeas), Sea Lavender (Limonium perezii), Alyssum, Carpet of Snow and Alyssum, Royal Carpet (Lobularia maritima). Also tolerates part shade. Wonderful cut flowers.
