The pastel poppy, Shirley is among the easiest flowers to grow. It will add quick color to beds and borders in just about any climate and location. Tolerates cool climates and coastal fog belts particularly well. Stover's mix includes yellow, orange, red and pink hues in flowers two inches or more wide. Mass alone or with other wildflowers for a lovely, low-water meadow garden. Particularly notable with Stover's blue, white and pink mix of Bachelor's Buttons (Centaurea cyanus) and the cheerful white and yellow Shasta Daisy (Chrysanthemum maximum). Good for cutting.
