Very similar to Hard Fescue but is more drought tolerant, has a more extensive root system and is native to many parts of North America. It is a very attractive grass with a distinctive blue-green color. Sheeps fescue is slow to establish but very persistent once it becomes rooted. The sowing rate is 5.0 Lbs to 7.0 Lbs per 1,000 Square Feet.
