Don't let its name fool you; though native to California's deserts, this wildflower is well adapted to many other areas. Offers inch-long bell-shaped flowers in a deep-blue shade and deep green, heart-shaped foliage. A lush addition to the front of the sunny spring border. Drought tolerant, it is also at home in rock gardens. Perfect for containers brimming with Johnny Jump-Up (Viola cornuta) and Alyssum, Carpet of Snow (Lobularia maritima).
