Bird's Eye adds shades of purple and fine, airy foliage to the garden. Each stem holds one or a few small, five-petaled flowers. Very versatile, it can take lots of heat and little water once established and takes full sun or even full shade. Adapted to cool and moist coastal or coastal-influenced climates. Bird's Eye is equally at home in a Southwestern-style garden or rock garden with Rockrose (Cistus). Perfect for an easy care wildflower meadow on a slope or in an uncultivated area of the landscape with its cousin Globe Gilia (Gilia capitata).
