This easy blooming, low-spreading wildflower adds a welcomed purple hue to the garden. A real help in coastal gardens as it tolerates the wind and spray. Its tiny flower clusters are wonderful emerging from cracks in stone walls and terraces or between boulders in rock gardens. Perfect filler between pavers or flagstones in the landscape. Works very well in container or window-box gardens. Use in the front of a border or along a walkway as contrast to orange or yellow wildflowers, such as Tidy Tips (Layia platyglossa) and French Marigold (Tagetes patula).
